Mary Catherine
After graduating from the University of BC (BA - Art History) Mary Catherine studied Theology at St. Mark’s College in Vancouver, BC (Biblical studies).

In 2008 and 2009, she attended the Summer Institute of Iconography (painting Illuminated Manuscripts under the direction of Jean Germano of Portland, OR) at Queen of Angels Monastery, in St. Benedict, OR.

Mary Catherine is currently serving on the executive of the Epiphany Sacred Arts Guild as a member-at-large: Promotions (and past Secretary-Treasurer).

She also develops slide presentations on Christology, Mariology, hagiology, church architecture and sacred art.   At the present time, the Guild has many productions in their library which can be shown to parish groups (RCIA, CWL and/or the Knights, etc).  If you would like to book the Guild (for a slide presentation) or an exhibit of sacred art, please contact our President (Frank Turner).

MC also specializes in the repair of reclaimed rosaries (from broken rosaries donated by parishioners) as well as collecting and constructing rosaries of historical interest.

As a fundraiser (for the Guild), we have antique and vintage rosaries for sale.  If you would like to see a catalogue of our rosaries (as well as prints/cards from our member’s original art-work), please contact our President (Frank Turner) through the web’s email address and put in the subject line: “Rosary/Card Catalogue”.

Mary Catherine is a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Coquitlam, BC.
